Milak Border Crossing to Operate Around the Clock Within One Month
DID Press: Afghan and Iranian officials held a joint meeting to discuss round-the-clock operations at the Milak border crossing in Nimroz, with Iranian officials promising that the crossing would be ready for 24-hour operations within the next month.

At a joint meeting of the Nimroz provincial economic committee and officials from Iran’s Sistan and Baluchestan province, held on Wednesday at the Milak border crossing, the two sides emphasized facilitating trade and transit between Afghanistan and Iran.
Saifullah Mohammadi, head of the Taliban governor’s office in Nimroz, told the economic deputy governor of Sistan and Baluchestan that the Nimroz customs office was fully prepared to receive and process transit vehicles.
Iranian officials also said that necessary measures were underway to enable round-the-clock operations at the Milak border crossing and that the crossing would be ready for 24-hour activity within the next month.
