France Bans Protests Amid Public Anger Over Deteriorating Services

Meanwhile, French President Emmanuel Macron has accused some foreign leaders of exploiting the unrest in France. He indirectly criticised US President Donald Trump over remarks linking the violence to Muslim immigrants, describing those comments as “stupid” and “unacceptable.”
