Taliban group abducted three judges and a court’s secretary for Sar-e Pul province late Wednesday, the chairman of provincial council said.



Taliban group abducted three judges and a court’s secretary for Sar-e Pul province late Wednesday, the chairman of provincial council said.
The incident took place following clashes between the security forces and Taliban fighters in Sar-e Pul – Jawzjan highway.
“Taliban took away three judges and a writer for Sar-e Pul’s court during the clashes, and it is not clear where the Taliban have moved them,” Mohammad Anwar Rahmani, the chairman of the provincial council told DID press agency.

According to Rahmani, sporadic clashes still ongoing in Sar-e Pul – Jawzjan highway and the way is under severe security threats for government vehicles.

On the other hand, police sources in Sar-e Pul province said the special operation has been launched to find abducted people whereabouts.
