Jawzjan Residents Call for Prosecution of ISIS Terrorists

The residents of Jawzjan province threatened that if these terrorists are not punished, they would burn themselves.
“the terrorists, who joined the peace process have raped their relatives, beheaded some a number of people and burned some others,” the protesters of Darzab and Qosh Tapa districts said.
Halima and Noor Mohammad, the two residents of Jawzjan province said: “these criminals even raped the children and must be punished.”
Meanwhile, the governor of Jawzjan province Lutfullah Azizi confirmed that ISIS terror group has committed crimes in Darzab and Qosh Tapa districts, adding that over 140 complaints of the residents have been sent to the National Security Directorate and the criminals will be punished according to the law.
According to sources, a delegation from Kabul has traveled to Jawzjan province to investigate ISIS terrorists who joined the peace process.
Local officials confirmed ISIS terror group has committed sexual harassment against women and children, abductions, chain killings and plundering the properties of the people in Darzab and Qosh Tapa districts.
“Currently, a number of families even look for the corpses of their family members,” local officials added.
