Migrants Peace Convoy Arrives Kabul from Pakistan
The members of Afghan refugee peace convoy who left Pakistan’s “Khyber Pakhtunkhwa” state for Kabul about 50 days ago, has just arrived in Kabul, urging the end of the war in Afghanistan.

The members of the peace convoy attended a press conference Tuesday 7 August and called on parties involved in the war, including the government and Taliban group to put an end to the war in the country and make peace.
Nezamuddin Shinwari, a member of the peace convoy said all segments of Afghanistan’s society are tired of war in the country and want peace and stability in the country.
“peace has now become a national demand of the people of Afghanistan and parties involved in the war should accept the demand of the people and join the peace process,” Shinwari added.
Meanwhile, Noor Habib Habib, another member of the peace convoy and the chairman of the Afghan School council board in Pakistan, also noted the continuing conflict in the country is the source of homelessness and deepening illiteracy and ignorance among the citizens of the country.
“the forty years of war has made the Afghan generations illiterate and nowadays, the opportunity for education and training is decreasing day by day among immigrant citizens,” he added.
It is worth mentioning that the Peace Convoy of Afghan refugees from Pakistan has reached Kabul several after passing hundreds of kilometers and calls for a cease-fire and the start of negotiations as a similar peace convoy has already arrived in Kabul, passing several provinces and launched sit-in protests outside foreign embassies.
