Sayed Massoud Kazemi – Sayed Mustafa Kazemi’s son and the chairman of Shahid Kazemi Foundation – supported from the candidacy of Sayed Alireza Mahmoodi in the upcoming parliamentary election by issuing a statement to the followers of martyr Kazemi and the youths of northern Balkh province to back up from Mahmoodi’s candidacy.

Mr. Mahmoodi is an honest fellow of Martyr Kazemi, the guardian of Jihadi and Islamic values as well as a capable and active figure in the political affairs, Mr. Kazemi said in the statement.

In the name of Allah
“election is a political process, in which, the people or a section of the population elect a person or people in a political and government post for a clear time by going to the ballot boxes; over the past decade, one of the tangible results in the new era for Afghan people is holding various presidential and provincial council elections. Although (this process) has suffered a lack of transparency, two issues are bold: one, is the way government holds the election, and the other, is the selection of representatives by the people. The government’s issue is contemplative, but the duty and responsibility of the people are really important and destiny-making. Electing those who are committed to the country and the nation and protecting from the people’s vote as well as representing their pain, are part of the features that people should keep in mind. I am also trying to introduce people who have these features. One of these figures is Mr. Sayed Alireza Mahmoodi, an Independent candidate from Balkh Province, who had been with martyr Kazemi (the Architect of National Unity) for many years, and has been active and worked hard in this school.
I declare my support from his candidacy and urges from Allah to help him continue the path of martyrs and protecting the people’s votes.
