for one day, the parliamentary election in 17 districts of Kandahar province will be held in 170 polling stations. However, the polling stations are Maruf and Nish district are blocked because the people have not registered themselves for the election, the IEC added.
14 other polling centres in six districts of this province will not be opened due to security threats.
The parliamentary election was delayed for a week after former Kandahar police chief General Abdul Raziq was assassinated.
The parliamentary election in 32 other provinces was held on 20-21 Oct. in more than 4,500 polling centers.
The parliamentary election in central Ghazni province has been delayed for political and security reasons which will likely be held simultaneously with the presidential elections.
