Afghan Defense Secretary Meets Saudi Authorities
Afghanistan’s national defense minister Gen. Tariq Shah Bahrami on a formal invitation by Saudi officials, met with Saudi King Malik Salman bin Abdul Aziz during the visit.

First, The National Defense Secretary attended the joint multinational military exercise launched by Saudi Arabia.
The high ranking political and military officials of the region and international allies of Saudi Arabia, including the United States and the United Kingdom had attended the military drill.
After the military exercise, Tariq Shah Bahrami discussed terrorism during a meeting with Saudi King bin Abdul Aziz and Saudi Crown prince Mohammad bin Salman.
Saudi officials assured Mr Bahrami that they will support the government of Afghanistan in countering international terrorism.
It is worth mentioning that country’s national security adviser has just been to Saudi Arabia and agreed on security and intelligence cooperation with Riyadh as well.
