Afghan Migrant Youth Peace Convoy Arrived in Kabul from Pakistan
A group of Afghan migrant peace convoy who moved from Pakistan’s Khaybar Pakhtunkhwa was warmly welcomed on Monday 25 June by civil activists, students, police, people and a delegation of the Ministry of Refugees and repatriation affair in capital Kabul.

The peace convoy in their message said: “As long as the government of Afghanistan and the groups involved in the war do not respond to their demands for bringing peace in the country, they will continue their peaceful and civil moves”.
The delegation from the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation welcomed the arrival of the peace convoy at Pul-e-Charkhi area of Kabul. The Minister of Refugees and Repatriation Sayed Hussain Alimi Balkhi supported the peace message of the convoy.
“The reason behind the migration of a majority of people is war and insecurity. The ground for the voluntary return of refugees will be provided once peace within the country get momentum,” Mr. Alimi Balkhi said.
This comes as the Helmand peace convoy on Monday embarked on the next phase of their protest and will hold a three-day sit-in outside UNAMA offices and then in front of embassies.
However, the Taliban group said in a statement that the Helmand peace march is a conspiracy which has been fabricated by the United States and implemented by the High Peace Council (HPC).
