Afghan Policemen Suffer Casualties in Clash with Taliban


At least 6 police officers were killed after Taliban attacked on security check points in Zabul province late Sunday, local officials confirmed Monday.
According to DID news agency report, clashes between Taliban groups and Afghan security forces left about six police dead while eight other soldiers were wounded.
According to officials, the clashes occurred late Sunday in Zabul’s Arghandab district after Taliban insurgents attacked security check points.
“8 Taliban members were killed and 12 others wounded during the clashes,” said officials.
