Afghan Security Forces Detain ISIL’s Recruiting Officer: NDS

The country’s Security Forces arrested ISIL recruiting officer along with his men during an operation in eastern Nangarhar province, the press office of National Directorate of Security (NDS) said in a statement on Monday.

According to the statement, Daesh (ISIL) recruiting officer Mohammad Asif – known as Omar – named his men as Ahmad Shah (Abozar) and Mohammad Ishaq.

During the investigation, Mohammad Asif confessed that he had been recruiting for the ISIL group for three years and carrying out a series of terrorist and destructive activities in Nangarhar and Kunar provinces, the statement added.

NDS also said in the statement the security forces detained three Taliban members named as Mahtabullah, Sobhan and Shamsul Rahman.
