Afghanistan’s state department reacted against North Korea
Afghanistan’s foreign ministry backed U.N’s Security Council resolution 2375 against North Korea’s nuclear program and called for the suspension of all nuclear weapons production programs of that country, state department’s statement said.
“Afghan government expressed hope, the new U.N Security Council resolution will halt all North Korean military plans,” the statement added.
Afghanistan foreign ministry had previously condemned North Korea’s “Hwasong-14” missile test, calling to be stopped.
On the other hand, Afghanistan’s reactions raised concerns among the Afghan people; some Afghan citizens believe that Afghanistan will become vulnerable in the wake of the conflict in the Korean Peninsula, taking stances in this regard.
Meanwhile, one of the promises of the national unity government was to create “mobility and dynamism in the foreign policy.”
