Alemi Balkhi stresses on addressing legitimate aspirations of Immigrants


Sunday (May 7th), representatives of Afghan refugees living in Pakistan met with Sayed Hussain Alemi Balkhi, minister of refugees and repatriation and discussed the problems of Afghan refugees in Pakistan.
“Afghans who have a legal passport do not have permission to live in Pakistan’s hotels or live with exorbitant money,” representatives of Afghan refugees said at the meeting.
They also stated that the government of Pakistan asks legal passport from the smallest Afghan children, while Pakistani nationals live in Afghanistan without such seriousness.

Meanwhile, Sayed Hussain Alemi Balkhi, minister of refugees and repatriation said that requesting a passport from different age is an international principle, but stressed that maltreatment of Pakistani government with Afghans will be shared with Afghan officials, specially with the ministry of foreign affairs.
Another representative of Afghan refugees living in Pakistan at the meeting said that immigrants who have a legal document of delivery banking tariff, plots are not distributed in “Memuzi town” for them.
Minister of refugees and repatriation instructed the relevant institutions to address the legal demands of immigrants.
