According to Zafar 207 military base, Taliban has been busy planning to launch operations in “Shiwan”, “Ganj Abad”, and “Pastokhan” villages of Bala Boluk district.
Afghanistan’s air forces targeted Taliban insurgents, killing 13 and injuring 15 others, the statement added.
These insurgents were Mullah Tayeb, Akhtar Shiwani, and Baridad’s affiliated members.
Three enemy bases have been completely destroyed as a result of this operation.
Meanwhile, Taliban in a separate attack destroyed a power pylon in northern Baghlan province on Saturday leaving Kabul in darkness. However, this is not the first time Taliban insurgents blow up the power pylon in the provinces.
