The decree of the president of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan on the nomination of Defense Minister and his introduction to the parliament’s Wolesi Jirga.

In accordance with the clause 11 of article 64 of the constitution, honorable Asadullah Khalid has been appointed as Minister of Defense of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
The Minister of state for the parliamentary affairs is tasked to introduce the mentioned candidate, subject to paragraph 3 of article 91 of the constitution, for obtaining confidence vote to the parliament’s Wolisi Jirga.

Based on clause 13 of the article 64 of the constitution, honorable Amrullah Saleh has been appointed as the acting head of the Ministry of the Interior affairs of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
