At least 10 Mortar Shells Hit Kabul: MoI
At least 10 rockets landed in several parts of Kabul early Saturday morning, killing at least one person.
The Ministry of Interior affairs said in a statement that at least 10 mortar shells were fired from Lab-e Jar area in Kabul on various parts of the city.
The rockets were landed near the airport, Hawashinasi area in PD-9, and Khaja Rawash area in PD-15, said the statement.
According to the Ministry, one person was killed and two more were wounded as a result of the mortar shelling.
No group or individual have immediately claimed responsibility.
Last month, at least 23 rockets hit various parts of capital Kabul. According to the security sources, 8 civilians were killed and dozens were wounded during the rocket attack.
