Ata M. Noor and Group of Elders Lay Wreath on Raziq’s Shrine
Ata M. Noor, Salahuddin Rabbani, Ahmad Zia Massoud and a group of country’s political elders laid wreath on Gen. Raziq’s shrine during a visit from southern Kandahar province on Wednesday.

The political elders who just arrived in Kandahar went to General Raziq’s shrine and paid tribute to him by laying flowers on his tomb.
General Raziq was killed in shooting at Kandahar’s governor compound on Thursday last week.
Earlier, former president Hamid Karzai and president Ashraf Ghani went to Kandahar to pay tribute to Gen. Abdul Raziq as well.
General Raziq was one of the strong anti-terrorism bulwark in southern part of the country, and currently concerns over insecurity increased in the south.
