The chief executive of Jamiat-e Islami party and a prominent member of the National Rescue Coalition entered the country after a long trip to Turkey and Saudi Arabia.

Mr Noor had gone to Turkey to attend a consultative meeting with General Dostum and Mohammad Mohaqiq, the two other prominent figures of the Coalition.

Earlier, rumors were handed on social networks that Mr Noor was banned from returning to the country; rumors that were strongly rejected by sources close to Mr Noor.

Last year, Mr Noor has said that he has major programs for the upcoming election.
