Attack on Bagram Airfield Ended, who is Responsible for it?

More than 60 civilians were wounded and a woman was killed as a result of a car bombing and follow up attack by gunmen in northern Parwan province, close to Bagram airbase.
The incident took place at about 6:00 am (local time) on Wednesday morning. According to residents, it damaged nearby houses.
Out of four vehicles, two laden with explosives targeted the southern part of the base, the site of a medical facility that was under construction. Several attackers then entered the base and clashed with Afghan and coalition forces.
At least one women was killed and over 60 civilians were wounded, Abdul Shokor Qudosi, Bagram district governor told reporters. There is no immediate report about military casualties.
“The target was Bagram airbase,” he added.

A spokesman for the Resolute Support Mission said that the medical facility was being built to help people who live near the base, and that it was the target of the attackers.
“The attack was quickly contained and repelled by our Afghan National Defense Security Forces and coalition partners, but the future medical facility was badly damaged,” Colonel Leggett, the spokesman said. “There were no U.S. or coalition casualties and Bagram remained secure throughout the attack.”

According to the U.S. military, the attack had been repelled.
The attack comes as peace talks resumed between American officials and Taliban representatives in Doha, Qatar.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
