Afghanistan IEC is expected to declare votes without biometric registration invalid, a source told DID Press Agency.
The IEC has confirmed that ballots without biometric registration were cast into the ballot boxes too, the source added.

The source said under the condition that the IEC has discussed this issue yesterday.
On 22 October, the political parties asked the IEC to declare ballots without biometric registration invalid.

However, election observers reported on election day that many ballots have been voted without biometric registration.
