Bomb blast targeted a Taliban vehicle in Jalalabad city, the capital of Nangarhar province, say provincial officials.
Provincial officials confirmed that the explosion occurred on Monday in PD-8 of Jalalabad city.
Two injured people, a civilian and a Taliban member, were taken to a local hospital, said Nangarhar health officials.
According to security sources, Today’s blast in Nangarhar was caused by a roadside bomb targeting a Ranger carrying Taliban members.
No group has immediately claimed responsibility. However, the IS-K group has recently increased its activities in the province.
