“one police force was killed and one injured during the explosion,” Kabul Police spokesman Heshmat Stanekzai said.
According to Stanekzai, a suicide bomber who wanted to detonate his explosives among the sit-ins near the election commission was recognized before reaching the target.
The suicide attack took place about 01:15 pm.
The protesters have not suffered casualties in this incident, but one police officer was killed and another one wounded during the suicide attack, Stanekzai added.
The protesters are the fans of disqualified candidates gathered outside the IEC’s office protested against the IEC’s decision and blocked the gate of election commission office.
