Car Bomb Blast in Ghazni had Casualties: official
9 Afghan security forces were killed or wounded as a result of a car bomb explosion in central Ghazni province, local officials said.
Local sources said that Taliban stormed the center of Deh Yak district in Ghazni at around 3:00 am on Monday.
The first attack began on several security checkpoints, including the Tasang checkpoint, said Wahidullah Jumazada, a spokesman for the governor of Ghazni, adding that a car bomb targeted the building of Deh Yak district after direct clashes broke out.
According to him, 3 security forces were killed and six others were wounded during the clashes.
Taliban also suffered heavy casualties, the spokesman said.
He emphasized that the final details will be shared.
Taliban have not commented yet.
