Chinese Special Forces to head to Syria
Chinese Special Forces will head to Damascus to help the Syrian government fight terrorism, according to reports.
According to Asharq al-Awsat newspaper, the Chinese Special Forces will soon go to Syria to take part in countering the terrorist activities of the Islamic Movement of Turkestan (East Turkestan Independence Movement).
Khmeimim base in western Syria, currently operated by the Russian army said, China’s Special Forces will soon head to Syria to participate in countering the Islamic Movement of Turkestan.
The Chinese defense Ministry plans to send its special forces, called “Cyber Tigers and Tigers of the Night” to help Syrian government forces deal with the Islamic Movement of Turkestan.
According to unverified data, 2,500 Islamic militants of Eastern Turkestan movement are operating in Syria.
