Coronavirus Infections Exceed 31,000 in Afghanistan
The Ministry of Public health announced that 271 new COVID-19 cases were surfaced in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of infections to over 31,000.
The Ministry of Public health announced that 271 new COVID-19 cases were surfaced in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of infections to over 31,000.
In the past 24 hours, 761 suspicious coronavirus samples were tested in the country’s laboratories which 271 cases were positive, the Ministry said in a statement on Monday.
Therefore, the number of infections soar to 31,238 nationwide. Kabul, Herat, Nangarhar, Kandahar, and Paktia have the highest number of infections.
According to the ministry, in the past 24 hours, 1,330 patients have been recovered in the country, bringing the total number of recoveries to 13,934.
At the same time, 12 patients died from the virus. The total number of deaths has reached 733 so far.
