There is Corrupt Minority in Country: president Ghani
Speaking at a conference of Minbar Voice against Corruption in capital Kabul late Sunday, president Ghani said religious scholars, youths, women and the great nation of Afghanistan is not corrupt, but a particular minority is corrupt in the country.

“I am happy to live in a country, where its ministers are tried and the generals are sentenced to prison to fight against the corruption and that no one is superior to the law,” president Ghani said at the conference. “no books and media can take the place of the pulpit. We can only eliminate corruption through the pulpit,” he added. “we are involved with two circles in Afghanistan; the vicious circle and the gentle circle, sedition, and catastrophe are the elements of the vicious circle,” Ghani stressed.
President Ghani said that the sedition destroys the establishment and this sedition has a special place in Islamic culture. Look at the past forty years of Afghanistan that how the sedition affects us.
“the sedition brings out catastrophe which our Jihad has failed by the same sedition,” Ashraf Ghani said.
President Ghani called on the Ulema to raise their voice against the sedition and corruption.
On the other hand, Mawlawi Qyamuddin Kashaf, the chairman of the Afghanistan Ulema Council, considered bribery, usurpation of the land, bullying, embezzlement, and betrayal in the nation as corruption, and urged the government to fight seriously against the corruptors.
“you start the fighting, we will seriously support you,” Mawlawi Kashaf told president Ghani.
The chairman of the Afghanistan Ulema Council said corruptors should be isolated, the right and respect of oppressed should be taken and Ulema will cooperate with the government in this regard.
