The Ministry said on Wednesday that in the past 24 hours, 377 suspicious covid-19 samples were tested across the country, in which, 112 cases were turned out positive.
The total number of infections has now reached 35,727. Kabul, Herat, Balkh, Kandahar, and Paktia have the highest number of infections.
According to the ministry, in the past 24 hours, 168 patients have been recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries to 23,907 nationwide.
At the same time, 4 patients having coronavirus died. The total number of covid-19 deaths soared to 1,190 in the country.
