COVID-19 cases Exceed 33,000 in Afghanistan

The Ministry of Public Health announced that 239 new coronavirus cases have been registered in the country, bringing the total number of cases to over 33,000.

The Ministry of Public Health announced that 239 new coronavirus cases have been registered in the country, bringing the total number of cases to over 33,000.
In the past 24 hours, 668 suspicious COVID-19 cases were tested in the laboratories which 239 cases were positive, said the Ministry.
With this, the total number of infections have reached 33,190 nationwide.

According to the Ministry, 737 patients have been recovered in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries to 20,103 in the country.
At the same time, 34 patients died from the virus. The total number of deaths has reached 898 so far.
