COVID-19 Cases in Afghanistan Soar to over 22,000
The Ministry of public health announced Wednesday that 684 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Afghanistan in the past 24 hours.
The Ministry of public health announced Wednesday that 684 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Afghanistan in the past 24 hours.
684 new COVID-19 cases were registered in the country, bringing the total number to 22,143, said the Ministry on Wednesday.
Kabul, Balkh, Nangarhar, Herat and Paktia have the highest number of infections.
According to the Ministry, 21 people died from the virus in the past 2 hours and 324 others have been recovered.
