Covid-19 cases Soared to about 37,000 in Afghanistan

The Ministry of Public Health announced Thursday that with 108 new positive coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, the total number of cases has reached 36,937 in Afghanistan.
In the past 24 hours, 753 suspicious coronavirus cases were tested in the laboratories, in which, 108 cases turned out positive, bringing the total number to 36,937 nationwide.

Kabul, Herat, Balkh, Nangarhar, Kandahar, and Paktia have recorded the highest number of infections.
According to the Ministry, 98 patients have been recovered in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries to 25,840 across the country.

At the same time, 4 patients have died from the virus. The total number of deaths has reached 1,298 so far.
