Defense Minister Bahrami Arrived in Ghazni
The Afghanistan Defense Minister General Tariq Shah Bahrami traveled to southern Ghazni province in order to review the security status and the threats posed by Taliban.
The Afghanistan Defense Minister General Tariq Shah Bahrami traveled to southern Ghazni province in order to review the security status and the threats posed by Taliban.
The country’s Defense Minister Tariq Shah Bahrami met with local and military officials on Sunday 8 June.
This is the second time this year that Bahrami travels to Ghazni province. He had traveled to the province months ago to check the security situation.
The defense minister traveled to Ghazni province as the security status is deteriorated. Local officials and representatives of the province at the parliament have repeatedly warned the province may collapse to Taliban.
This comes as the Taliban fighters attack different parts of the province every day, and recently warned they will attack Hazara regions.
It is worth mentioning that election in Ghazni beside insecurity is another major challenge in the province.
