The sixth round of peace talks between US and Taliban delegation began last week in Doha and it is still ongoing.
“Talks will continue between the two negotiation teams,” Suhail Shaheen, a spokesman for Taliban in Doha said early Thursday. Adding that “the talks moves positively”.
“There is some progress on the two main issues but still need discussions to be finalized,” he continued.
The remarks come as Taliban have escalated their attacks in Afghanistan. They attacked US-based funded group in Kabul downtown on Wednesday which lasted for six hours.
