ECC Begins Decision-making process on Electoral Complaints
The Electoral Complaints Commission (ECC) said the preliminary phases of reviewing electoral complaints ended and it starts the final phase – the decision-making process about complaints Saturday 21 July.
The Electoral Complaints Commission (ECC) said the preliminary phases of reviewing electoral complaints ended and it starts the final phase – the decision-making process about complaints Saturday 21 July.
According to statistics, 1 600 complaints were filed with the ECC across the country. The ECC has technically completed the protests and complaints and now it is time for the final phase, in which, the commission decide which candidate will be eliminated or added again to the primary list after reviewing the complaints.
The ECC is scheduled to send back the final result on 2 August to the Independent Election Commission.
The parliamentary and district council elections will be held on 20 October.
