“about 2,500 staff members have been trained to use the biometric device,” said Zabihullah Sadat, the deputy spokesman of the IEC. “we do not allow any address to interfere in the election affairs,” he stressed.
On Wednesday, the election commission announced that biometric devices and election materials will be transferred to all provinces in the country.
Afghan parliamentary election is scheduled to be held on Oct. 20.
