Ethnic Removal Not in Interest of Country: NCSA

Ata M. Noor, Haji M. Mohaqiq, and Enayatullah Babur Farahmand (the representative of Gen. Dostum) who are the founding members of the National Coalition for the Salvation of Afghanistan (NCSA) said Sunday at a press conference in Mazar-e Sharif that the government must set aside its ethnic removal program as soon as possible.

The press conference said that if it had been asked the government to bring back Gen. Dostum, now, we will bring him back.
Ata M. Noor told the president: “Mr. president the national unity of Afghanistan has been hurt, and the armed forces of Afghanistan – who are the sons of this nation – should not be used against the nation of Afghanistan”.

Mr Noor Warned the government that “eliminating ethnic group is the plan of government rulers and this is not in the interest of the people. Prevent ethnic removal as soon as possible”.
“Today, commandos, who are the best of our armed forces are busy cleaning a particular ethnic group called Uzbek in Faryab province. The NCSA declares its support from all Uzbek people. [addressing to the president] Mr president you must obey the demands of the people and public figures; because the consequences of the sole and bumptious decision will not be good,” Mr Noor asserted.

Pointing to the detention of Qaisari, the former Balkh governor added: “the famous killer is cheerfully brought to Kabul with millions of Afghanis privileges, but those like Qaisari who fight against the terrorists, are being arrested”.
Addressing to the international partners of Afghanistan, Ata M. Noor said: “they should determine that whether they are the friends of Afghan people or a special circle in the presidential palace. Why the international friends closed their eyes to massive fraud in the election and indicate that they are a fan of a particular circle.

On the other hand, Mohamad Mohaqiq said that “Keeping Dostum in exile is a decision of special circle, not the decision of the national security council”.
“If we said before to bring back Dostum. Now, we say that we ourselves will bring Dostum back [from exile]. I emphasize that we will bring Mr Dostum back,” Mohaqiq warned.
Referring to ethnic bias, Mr Mohaqiq accentuated: “if yesterday one ethnic group was discriminated against, today, all ethnic group are in a state of discrimination. Ministers affiliated to Hazara ethnicity do not have security and job guaranty”.

Meanwhile, Enayatullah Babur Farahmand, the head of Gen. Dostum administration who attended the press conference on behalf of Dostum said: “Qaisari was a strong wall against terrorists in the north and his detention carried out not as a warlord but as a person who was against Taliban. If armed forces should be in the hand of a particular circle, we call on our people to return to their provinces and defend their honor”.

It is worth mentioning that Balkh, Samangan, Faryab, Jawzjan, Sar-e Pul, and Baghlan witness rallies participated by thousands of people in reaction to the detention of Qaisari, supporting the return of Gen. Dostum and the NCSA.
