The head of National Unity Government M. Ashraf Ghani in his trip to eastern Nangarhar province said during a press conference that he feels Afghanistan’s 40-year crisis has come to an end.
The head of National Unity Government M. Ashraf Ghani in his trip to eastern Nangarhar province said during a press conference that he feels Afghanistan’s 40-year crisis has come to an end.
President Ghani traveled to Nangarhar province on Sunday morning and laid the foundation for a 1000-bed medical complex in the province.
Speaking at a press conference in the province, Ghani said: “I feel the country’s 40-year crisis has come to an end”.
Mr Ghani also talked about peace with armed opposition forces.
“A general consensus has been formed and peace is near,” he added.
President Ghani spoke about security, education and peace during the trip to eastern part of the country.
