FM Rabbani Meets UAE and UNRWA Officials

Afghan Minister of Foreign Affairs Salahuddin Rabbani met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates Mr. Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan on the sideline of the 46th OIC Council of Ministers.


Afghan Minister of Foreign Affairs Salahuddin Rabbani met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates Mr. Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan on the sideline of the 46th OIC Council of Ministers.

Although there are no more details about the meeting, Minister Rabbani appreciated UAE’s support to Afghanistan’s Peace Process.
Both sides emphasized the regional cooperation, mutual interests, and significance of bilateral ties, the Afghan Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

During a separate meeting, FM Salahuddin Rabbani met with the Commissioner General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency Mr. Pierre Krähenbühl on the sideline of the 46th OIC council of ministers.

Mr. Krähenbühl appreciated Afghanistan for assisting $ 1 million to the Palestinian refugees and stated that the money would be spent on education of Palestinian refugees.
On Friday, the Afghan Ambassador to Turkey deposited USD 1 million to the United Nations bank account to help the Palestinian refugees.
