Considering Faryab province as a barrier against the offensive of ISIL group and other terrorist groups in the northern part of the country, general Dostum said in a statement that “Junbish-e Milli-e Islami of Afghanistan and Jamiat-e Islami parties are the main defenders of this line against militants – which in some cases led the government forces and local uprising as the first VP in Faryab province.
“The role of Nizamuddin Qaisari as my representative in public uprising affairs is prominent in Faryab province,” General Dostum added in the statement. “Now that Qaisari was arrested by the government due to wrong reports and conspiracies, northern Faryab province is at risk of chaos and the it may collapse”.
“I as the first VP and the leader of Junbish-e Milli-e Islami of Afghanistan call on the NUG to release Nezamuddin Qaisari – who is my representative in defense line of Faryab province as soon as possible and return him to Faryab province. Otherwise, the government’s programs, including the election process may subject to serious challenges, and the consequences will be on the shoulder of those who pave the ground for such crisis,” the statement emphasized.
Nizamuddin Qaisari, a local commander and a senior representative of General Abdul Rashid Dostum was arrested by special forces Monday and transferred to capital Kabul.
It is worth mentioning that Gholam Farooq Qate, the commander public uprising of Jamiat-e Islami party was previously killed in the north of Afghanistan as well.
