Ghani was speaking during a two-day consultative conference on peace involving tribal elders, Jihadi leaders and representatives of provincial councils in Kabul.
He said that the Afghan nation has full consensus on achieving peace.
According to the president, achieving peace is difficult without reforms in the areas of economy, politics, and culture.
He also said that women can participate in peace negotiations and emphasized on transparency in talks.
The president also suggested that repatriation of refugees and addressing the problem of internally displaced people can help peace.
