Group of U.S troops stationed in Maidan Wardak

A group of American forces was deployed in Maidan Wardak province to provide better security in the province, security officials said.
“A number of U.S troops have recently stationed in Maidan Wardak’s Narkh district in an effort to provide the security,” a spokesman for the police headquarter in Maidan Wardak Naqibullah Amini told (DID) news agency.
“American forces also contributed in an operation which was launched last Thursday,” Mr. Amini added.
