Gunmen Shot Dead 2 Journalists in Takhar

According to local officials, two journalists were shot dead on Tuesday night when unknown gunmen broke into a radio station in northeastern Takhar province.


According to local officials, two journalists were shot dead on Tuesday night when unknown gunmen broke into a radio station in northeastern Takhar province.

Samim Hussaini, director of radio Hamsada told reporters that a presenter and a reporter were died at the scene.
The incident took place in Taleqan, capital of Takhar province.

Jawad Hejri, spokesman for the Takhar governor, said the gunmen fled without being identified and police were investigating.
According to a report, the three most dangerous countries for journalists to work in were Afghanistan, Syria and Mexico.
