Afghanistan’s former president Hamid Karzai left for Moscow to attend Moscow security conference on Sunday.



Afghanistan’s former president Hamid Karzai left for Moscow to attend Moscow security conference on Sunday.
Mr Karzai wrote on his official Facebook page that he left Kabul for Moscow to participate at Moscow security conference.
The former president is expected to meet with some high Russian authorities.

Hamid Karzai has traveled to Russia several times since leaving power in the past three years. He is a critic of the United States of America.
The US accuses Russia of supporting Taliban, but Moscow rejects these allegations, saying America back up Daesh (ISIL) in Afghanistan.

The Russian special envoy to Afghanistan Zamir Kabulov in response to US allegations said that his country did not accept Taliban’s financial request.
