Haqqani Network’s Intelligence officer Killed in Paktia: local officials
Afghan Local officials in eastern Paktia province said Wednesday that Haqqani network’s intelligence officer was killed in the province.

“Sher Zaman known as Mohammad Omar, the intelligence officer for Haqqani network was killed in an operation by defense and security forces in Sayed Karam district of the province,” the press office of Paktia province said in a statement.
According to the statement, three other members of Haqqani network were also injured in the operation.
Paktia is one of the insecure provinces in east Afghanistan and terror groups have sometimes carry out terrorist operation in the province.
