Armed men allegedly belonging to the Taliban group opened fire at Hazara passengers in Ghor province, the provincial officials said Monday.

“The incident took place yesterday afternoon near Bara Khana area,” said Iqbal Nezami, the provincial police spokesman.
“One person was killed and 2 others wounded in the incident,” he added. “the passengers were Hazara ethnic group and intended to go to Ferozkoh city.”

This comes as Taliban had also previously attacked a car carrying Hazara people, killing a number of them.
