The head of Afghanistan’s IEC Hawa Alam Nuristani says that the “Fraudulent Team” has threatened her to death.
“The fraudulent team has threatened me to death and clearly warns that if the election results are not announced on their favor, I will probably will not have the opportunity to live for a few minutes. But I as an oppressed and defenseless Afghan woman with the same oath … I promise to root out the culture of frauds in the election process,” wrote Hawa Alam Nuristani on his official Facebook page, adding that “if necessary and if the threats continue, I promise to introduce each of the perpetrators to the people.”
Ms. Nuristani says that “after the Election Commission’s decision about the non-biometric and fake votes, a leading fraudulent team put the commission under pressure to enter the fraudulent votes into the system and data center, but fraudsters received a negative response.”
“The leading fraudulent team used all options, sometimes suggested huge financial offer, sometimes hacking the system or so, but failed because the commission is committed and blocked all forms of misuse,” she added.
