I will Run for upcoming Presidential Election to Fight Corruption
Balkh governor, chief executive of Hezb-e Jamiat Islami and a senior member of Etelaf-e Nejat Ata M. Noor reported of his possible nomination in the upcoming presidential election of Afghanistan, at the ceremony of ninety-fourth anniversary of founding new Turkey, held in Mazar-e Sharif.
According to DID news agency report, talking about the existence of corruption and insecurity in the country, Mr. Noor said that he will possibly be a candidate for the upcoming Afghan presidential election in order to fight the phenomena.
He also expressed concerns over the increased casualties of the country’s security forces at the battlefields with terrorists, and read it a shame for the leaders of the national unity government.
The serious critic of ARG palace criticized the recklessness of the ruling team in providing security and described the current status even worse than Taliban era.
Ata Mohammad Noor is one of the prominent figures who oppose the ARG’s policies and the first politician who talked about the possibility of his candidacy for the presidency of 1398 (solar year).
