Fazl Hadi Muslimyar, the chairman of the Afghan senate raised the issue when the senates expressed concerns over the low presence of people at the registration centers.

Senate representatives insist that voter registration process faces a serious challenge if the electoral commission fails to take measures.
Meanwhile, electoral observatory bodies have also said the presence of people at polling centers is alarming. But election officials in response to the concerns, say the registration process has been recently started and the people’s presence will go up in the coming days.
