IHRC Gets new Boss

Ashraf Ghani appointed Shahrzad Akbar as the head of Independent Human Rights Commission (IHRC), said Arg in a statement on Wednesday evening.
Sediq Sediqi, a spokesman for the presidential palace (Arg) confirmed it, saying that Sima Samar, former head of the IHRC has been appointed as president’s special representative and state minister on human rights affairs and international relations.

The new installments in government entities by Arg, however, are not acceptable for presidential candidates and political parties, being interpreted in the interests of government electoral team.
