Insurgents Suffer Heavy casualties in Afghanistan:MoD

During past 24 hours, Afghan National army have launched offensive operations to suppress insurgents in different parts of Afghanistan. Ministry of defense said in a statement.
According to DID news agency report, the operations were launched by Afghan security forces in Nangarhar, Ghazni, Paktia, Logar, Uruzgan, Zabul, Balkh, Jawzjan, Faryab, Kunduz, Baghlan, and Helmand provinces.

“As a result of the operations, 27 Taliban members were killed in Logar province, one injured as well as 21 insurgents were killed in Zabul province, 10 insurgents were killed in Helmand province” the statement added.
According to the statement, 2 insurgents killed In Faryab province and in Nangarhar province, one ISIL member was killed and 6 others were arrested.
