Iran Supports Afghan Election Process
The ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kabul says that his country supports election process in Afghanistan, and that the 2019 elections had fewer problems than the 2014 elections.
The ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kabul says that his country supports election process in Afghanistan, and that the 2019 elections had fewer problems than the 2014 elections.
The ambassador of Iran in Kabul Mohammad Reza Bahrami, during a meeting with the election commission officials, congratulated the presidential election to all Afghan people and the members of the election commissions.
“The presidential election was better than other elections and had fewer problems. I support the process on behalf of the Islamic Republic of Iran,” he added.
Meanwhile, the head of the IEC Hawa Alam Nuristani said that “the commission activities move well and it assures all the election partners that it works impartially and independently.”
“The commission is under no pressure and will announce the election results on the determined time,” she added.
